The Birth of Vahagn

Vahagn is the god of storm, war and fire, sometimes carries a lyre like Apollo. He was identified with Hercules by Armenian writers. Aramazd, Vahagn and Anahit form a triad. His sonsort is Asdghig. This artwork is inspired from "The birth of Vahagn", as described in a folk tale documented by the father of Armenian history, Moses of Khoren.
